Cueists pocket £340 for charity

A Goole pub has raised over £340 for charity after hosting a fundraising pool tournament.

The Counting House Pub on Aire Street hosted the fundraiser on Saturday, May 27 in aid of Macmillan, a charity which is close to the hearts of many of the staff at the pub.

Visitors got competitive on the tables which enjoying complimentary food, music and much more, all while raising money for the good cause. 

A spokesperson for the pub said: “Big thanks to Mr NessuNo, AJP Pub Group, Clean Pubs Limited, The Lounge Paradise Tearooms and Bar, Tesco and the family of Olivia Goddard for their generous donations. 

“A big thanks to all our customers who attended and supported the event.”
